The Somerville Museum, in Collaboration with the City of Somerville, MA - Keynote Speaker for the 249th First Flag Raising; Procession begins at 11:30 AM from Somerville City Hall. Ceremony begins at Noon at Prospect Hill Tower.

 Washington's Headquarters, Newburgh, NY: Washington's Birthday Celebration. Celebrate with birthday cake each day at noon in the museum followed by informal visiting with the Washingtons inside Headquarters (Hasbrouck House).

Battle of Bunker Hill 250th event - Meet & Greet

Celebrate the arrival of General Washington in Cambridge at Longfellow House/Washington's Headquarters, Brattle Street, Cambridge. The Washington's are in residence all day. I will be delivering 2 talks - 10:15 AM "Get Ready With Martha" and at 1:15 PM "On Managing a Headquarters that is also a Household". (Rain Date is Sunday, July 6th)

During The Army on Campaign Reenactment Weekend at the Bidwell House Museum, Monterey, MA - “Afflictions of the Mind: A Candid Conversation with Martha and Mercy”

Lafayette-Durfee House (Fall River, MA) -  Spend an hour or spend the afternoon with Martha Washington at the Lafayette-Durfee House in the year 1784. Join Mrs. Washington in her bedchamber at 1 PM as she dresses for the afternoon, sit with her while she works on her sewing, and visit with her over her afternoon tea. Stories, gossip, and more! Appropriate for all ages. 

Breakfast with the Washingtons:  Join General and Mrs. Washington as they take their breakfast together in Spring of 1784. Listen in on their conversation about their lives thus far and what they anticipate for their lives at Mount Vernon, now that the War for Independence is behind them. Enjoy this half hour scripted conversation between George and Martha, followed by 15 minutes of Q&A with the Washingtons.
